CTE Workshop - GenAI for Teaching: A Hands-On Intro

If you are a Miami instructor who has never (or barely) used a Generative AI tool (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude), this in-person workshop will provide you with a hands-on introduction. Participants will learn how GenAI works while experimenting to tailor and optimize its output. Participants will also engage strategies to facilitate their work as teachers as well as investigate useful strategies for supporting students’ learning. The workshop includes lunch and a book raffle. Most of the workshop time features guided, discipline-specific, and personalized exploration and experimentation with GenAI.
