Six Miami University Sport Leadership and Management (SLAM) students participated in the National Collegiate Sports Sales Championship (NCSSC) qualifications held in November.

Miami emerged as a standout performer at the event, which drew over 240 students from 55 universities across the nation. The university secured the maximum number of spots (four students) for the championship round, scheduled to take place in Atlanta on Feb. 26-27.

Among the outstanding achievements, both the ticket sales team and the corporate partnerships team finished in the top 10 in the country. The ticket sales team claimed the No. 7 spot, while the corporate partnerships team secured third place.

In the individual rankings within the ticket sales division, SLAM student Jake Norz took eighth, while Bennett Kaufman (26th) and Roger Dafoe (40th) showcased their talent by finishing in the top 40.

The corporate partnerships competition saw exceptional performances as well, with Jonah Karschnik (12th) and Ben Bracken (15th) both claiming positions within the top 15 in the nation. Samuel Worley added to the success by achieving 31st in the qualification round.
