Miami students conduct mock evaluation team meeting in interdisciplinary training

Graduate and undergraduate students from Miami University’s College of Education, Health, and Society participated in an interdisciplinary training event at Shriver Center, collaborating in a mock Evaluation Team Report (ETR) meeting. Using a case study of a fictitious seventh-grade student, participants from school psychology, inclusive special education, and speech-language pathology programs worked together to analyze educational data and discuss support services. Faculty collaborators Katy Mezher, Briana Von Mizener, and Sarah Halloran Barnett guided students in this hands-on training designed to enhance skills in cross-disciplinary collaboration and student-centered support.
