Ganiva Reyes joins Educational Studies journal editorial advisory board

Ganiva Reyes, department chair and associate professor in Miami University’s Department of Teaching, Curriculum, and Educational Inquiry, has been appointed to the Editorial Advisory Board of the Educational Studies journal, part of the American Educational Studies Association (AESA). Selected for her expertise in social foundations of education, including philosophy, sociology, anthropology, cultural studies, and women and gender studies, Reyes will serve a two-year term.

Educational Studies provides a platform for original investigations and theoretical studies in education, emphasizing research that is methodologically sound, theoretically informed, and internationally relevant. The journal publishes fully refereed articles that address both applied and theoretical approaches to the study of education, with a focus on informing educational practices across sectors. The journal employs a rigorous peer review process, involving initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by at least two reviewers.
