Mock Interview Day

Student being interviewed by a professional
A Mock Interview Day (MID) is conducted between a Miami student interviewee and an industry professional. Mock Interview Days are only available during specific dates of the semester, as opposed to Mock Interview Appointments.
In a 45-Minute Mock Interview, you will practice your behavioral-based interviewing skills, as well as  a tailored interviewing approach to discipline/field of study, specific internship/job, and graduate school. Student Feedback on The Mock Interview Program

“Mock interview day was such a valuable and enriching experience for me. I dreaded coming and did not know if I was going to take away anything important, but it was 100% worth it. I walked away knowing my interviewing skills had improved.

“The recruiter I worked with was amazing and made sure that I got as much information and help out of the mock interview possible. Mock Interview day is a resource that everyone at Miami should use, every single student can learn something important and useful that they will take with them when they interview for a job.”

— John Tomtishen, ’25, Mechanical Engineering
