Virtual Drop-ins with Peer Career Coaches

Meet with a trained Peer Career Coach via Zoom to have your cover letter, resume or LinkedIn profile reviewed. Drop-in meetings are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

  • Monday: 10:00am – 4:00pm, 5:00pm – 6:00pm
  • Tuesday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
  • Wednesday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
  • Thursday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
  • Friday: 10:00am – 2:00pm

Steps to Connect

  • Meet with a Peer Career Coach for Virtual Drop-Ins by using Zoom.
  • Have a digital copy of your resume accessible to upload and share. Or have your questions prepared so the Peer Career Coach can provide guidance in developing your resume, cover letter or LinkedIn.
  • Use VMock for after hours resume review. 
    • Upload your resume to VMock to request network feedback from a Peer Career Coach. Students will receive feedback within 48 hours.

This presentation provides an expanded overview of résumés. The facilitator covers the function of résumés, brainstorming content, visual style, structuring bullets, useful tips, digital career development platforms, and other career services.

This presentation provides an expanded overview of LinkedIn and Handshake. The facilitator covers the function of LinkedIn and Handshake, visual style of photos, types of profile content, networking basics, useful tips, and other career services. We encourage creating/revising your profiles during this presentation.

This presentation introduces GoinGlobal, the online international job board. The facilitator will explain GoinGlobal’s purpose, how to search for international internship and career opportunities, and navigating support guides.
