Tropical Marine Ecology

Dive right into the beautiful marine ecosystems of the Florida Keys, the Bahamas and more on this 2 week, 6 credit hour on-site experiential program. Students can enjoy learning in an outdoor classroom, conducting research by snorkeling, and SCUBA diving. This program has been running since the 90s, and is open to all majors. All you need is a sense of adventure!

Geology of Streams

Embark on the unique journey of observing, collecting data, and studying the geological records of streams in Southwest Ohio and North Carolina. Students will have the opportunity to observe the impacts of climate change on these locations and develop restoration strategies all while enjoying a canoe trip down these waterways.

Field Geology

Take a trip out West on this program where students will practice field techniques in natural settings. Students will have the opportunity to study geological features all while trekking through locations such as Jackson Hole Valley and the Yellowstone region, among others.
