This academic year marks nearly a decade as the 22nd president of Miami University. It remains one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this remarkable community and help steward the continued growth and success of this institution. Miami is uniquely positioned to be among the top universities in the nation, thanks to the enduring support, vision, and dedication of our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends.

TIME magazine recently named Miami one of the 100 Best Colleges for Future Leaders. This recognition affirms Miami’s long-standing reputation for cultivating extraordinary individuals — creatives, military leaders, Super Bowl-winning coaches, nonprofit pioneers, public servants, educators, entrepreneurs, and Fortune 500 CEOs. Our alumni inspire my work, fill our faculty and staff with pride, and provide our students with the aspiration and proof of what’s possible.

As we reflect on the 2024–2025 academic year, I’m humbled to share highlights that showcase the dedication, innovation, and leadership of our Miami community. These highlights capture not only what we’ve accomplished but where we’re headed together.
