Greetings,

When I stepped onto Miami University's campus 10 years ago, my wife and I had no idea of the impact this university would have on me. I am honored to have been entrusted with leading this great university as president for the last decade. 

Looking back over the past 10 years, Miami has had extraordinary accomplishments — new facilities, groundbreaking research, transformational partnerships, and national recognitions. As we look toward the future, our mission remains unchanged. We will continue preparing students for careers and opportunities not yet imagined, investing in ideas that shape tomorrow, discovering knowledge that improves lives, stewarding our resources responsibly, competing with excellence, and empowering every member of our community to make a meaningful difference.

As we conclude the 2025-2026 academic year and reflect on a decade of progress, we celebrate what our community has accomplished while looking ahead to what comes next.
