Christine Pacewicz, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Sport Leadership and Management (SLAM) Department at Miami University (OH). Prior to joining the SLAM Department, Christine was an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU). While at SVSU she served as the Exercise Science Program Coordinator.

Scholarly Focus
Dr. Pacewicz’s primary research program centers on youth in the sport context and how psychological constructs and social relationships influence athletes’ self-perceptions, burnout, and well-being. In addition to this work, she studies burnout in the workplace with a focus on sport personnel (e.g., athletic trainers) and healthcare workers. Dr. Pacewicz also conducts research focused on measurement and quantitative methods in Kinesiology.
