About Jonathan
Jonathan is the Assistant Director for Student Engagement in the Miami University Honors College. Jonathan advises students primarily in the Farmer School of Business. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a minor in Psychology from Shawnee State University (2008), his Master of Arts in Leadership Studies with an emphasis in Higher Education from Marshall University (2011), and is pursuing his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Miami University. As an assistant director in the Honors College, Jonathan provides collaborative leadership in efforts to support and develop the Honors Residential College working with our campus partners in Student Life, Residence Life, and Campus Services Center. He also advises the Honors Student Advisory Board.
Prior to joining the Honors College, Jonathan worked in Student Housing & Residence Life for 10 years, most recently in the Office of Residence Life here at Miami. Jonathan is actively involved in the Oxford and College Corner communities. As a member of the Oxford Rotary Club, he serves and has been active in various club leadership roles for 10+ years. He is active in coaching youth sports, church membership, and supporting other activities enjoyed by his wife, Jessica, and their three active children.
