About Jordyn
As a Program Coordinator in the Honors College, Jordyn advises Honors students whose primary majors are College of Arts & Sciences Humanities majors, Social Science majors, and Chemistry majors, in addition to College of Creative Arts majors. Jordyn coordinates the administrative process for the Honors Senior Project and Honors with Distinction. Additionally, Jordyn directs the Urban Leadership Internship Program, the Honors College’s grant-funded summer internship program in Dayton. Jordyn joined the Honors College staff in 2019. She earned both her Bachelor of Arts degree in History (2011) and her Master of Science in Education degree (2013) from James Madison University in Virginia.
Jordyn enjoys attending theater productions and listening to true crime podcasts. Jordyn hopes to visit all 50 states and as many countries as possible with her husband. She has been to 28 states and 7 countries so far. Jordyn has two cats, who are the cutest when they are not causing chaos.
