Valerie Butterfield, M.A.

About Valerie

Valerie works as a Program Coordinator in the Honors College. She advises students whose primary major is in the Biological Sciences, Psychology, or Speech Pathology & Audiology. She oversees Honors prospective and admitted student programming, the Honors Ambassador program, coordinates student record and database management, and loves designing in Canva! Valerie joined the Honors College in September 2019, after completing a M.A. in College Student Personnel at Bowling Green State University. She is also a 2016 alumna of Miami University, with a B.A. in Psychology. 

Valerie enjoys spending time with her Miami Merger, Alex, and their dog, Belle. She also loves traveling and being outside when possible. In her spare time, she is learning how to garden and crochet.
