Christy Schoen Becker, a 2004 graduate with a BS in education and was a Harriers volleyball player in the 2002 and 2003 seasons. Christy's time at Miami Hamilton was marked by leadership as she was co-captain of the volleyball team, as well as the president of the Miami Hamilton Athletic Club. During the 2003 season, Christy dominated statistically with 73 kills, 18 aces, 15 digs, and 9 blocks. Due to her outstanding athletic and academic achievement, Christy was honored with multiple conference awards, including ORCC all-conference, all-academic, and ORCC honorable mention. In addition to her contributions to the sport as a player, Christy has also spent time as a coach, coaching junior high and freshman volleyball teams at Milford, as well as coaching at Miami University Hamilton during the 2004 season.

Currently, she is in her 13th year teaching 2nd grade at Milford schools. She enjoys spending her time coaching and watching her sons Chase (8) and Cooper (5) play soccer, basketball, and baseball.
