Hamilton Campus CTL

CTL Mentorship Program

MUH Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is pleased to announce their new mentorship program for full-time and part-time faculty and staff.

Individual consultations

Consulting services are provided for full-time and part-time faculty and staff to meet their goals in three professional areas: teaching, assessment, and technology. Appointments are available for one-on-one meetings. Individual consultations are confidential.

New and junior faculty assistance

MUH CTL assists new and junior faculty who may have questions about Miami University Hamilton and its students, designing courses, and teaching evaluations.

Midterm feedback discussions

Assistance is provided for faculty in interpreting their Small Group Instructional Diagnosis (SGID) sessions and to provide guidelines on how to incorporate student feedback into course design to make teaching more effective.

End-of-semester course evaluations

In confidential discussions, the CTL will help faculty to interpret their end-of-semester teaching evaluations and provide assistance in developing strategies that lead to improvements in teaching and student learning.

Faculty and staff can request consultation by emailing Liza Skryzhevska at skryzhy@MiamiOH.edu. Walk-ins during the CTL office hours are accepted. Additional appointments can be made by request.
