A new Workday project website is here!

As Miami gets closer to the official kickoff of the Workday implementation, the project team has been hard at work making preparations for this exciting event. One of the pieces to this very complex initiative is a project website, which is now available for the Miami University community at MiamiOH.edu/workdayinfo.

The website will be a continuing source of information highlighting the progress of the project over the next several years. Because it will be constantly changing, we recommend you bookmark and plan to visit it often.

The initial release of the site includes:

  • The original Workday announcement
  • Project timelines
  • The project mission statement and guiding principles
  • A list of the key project stakeholders

Information that will be added to the site over the coming months includes:

  • Project status updates
  • FAQs
  • List of project leads

If you would like to have someone from the project team come to a department or group meeting to provide a brief information session, please schedule it through the WorkdayInfo calendar. You have the option for us to attend either in person or virtually.

Workday is the cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that will be replacing our legacy Banner system. The current schedule has a go live with HR and Finance in July 2024, followed by a phased student implementation slated for completion in 2026. By implementing Workday, Miami will transform how it delivers essential business services and provide seamless end-to-end experiences for faculty, staff, and students.

If you have any questions regarding this initiative, please check out the website, or send your questions to WorkdayInfo@MiamiOH.edu.
