Announcing the 75th Anniversary of Miami's Geology Field Camp

In celebration of Miami University's 75th year teaching field geology in Wyoming, we are having a field camp anniversary celebration Thursday, July 14 through Sunday, July 17, 2022.  Plans include a kick-off reception Thursday evening at Timberline, field trips to former and current field areas around Dubois on Friday & Saturday, and a big BBQ with live music for the afternoon/evening of Saturday, July 17.  As this is an all-inclusive event, families are welcome!
To accommodate our alums, we have reserved rooms at the Stagecoach Inn & Suites in Dubois for Thursday - Saturday nights.  Bunks in the Student Cabins and Manor will also be available, as is the option of pitching a tent on the law.  Depending on interest, we also plan to serve breakfast on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, lunch in the field on Friday and Saturday, and dinner at Timberline on Friday evening.
Room charges at Timberline will be $50 per person, per night (no charge for campers).  Meals will be $15 for breakfast per person, $10 for lunch per person and $25 for dinner per person at Timberline on Friday.  There will also be a $50 charge per person for the BBQ on Saturday.
To reserve rooms in Dubois, please contact the Stagecoach (307-455-2303) at your earliest convenience and tell them you are part of the Miami University Field Camp Anniversary Group.  Lodging and meal reservations at Timberline can be made by filling out the Geology Field Camp 75th Reunion form and submitting it with payment.  The deadline to make reservations is June 20, 2022.  If you have any questions, please contact Cathy Edwards, Administrative Assistant, at 513-529-3216
