Room Scheduling Policies and Procedures

Student organizations and Miami University staff and faculty members are able to reserve academic classroom spaces for events such as meetings, study sessions, exams, guest lectures, film viewings, etc. Classrooms are reserved using the room request software, 25Live. Anyone who has a Miami Unique ID and password can sign in to 25Live and submit a request to reserve a classroom by creating a calendar event—this event doesn't necessarily have to appear on the public University Calendar. Step-by-step instructions on how to submit a room request are provided at Room Request Instructions.

If you'd like to reserve a room on the Hamilton or Middletown campus, please visit the Miami Regionals website

Requests to use academic classroom space on the Oxford campus will be reviewed by staff members in the Office of the University Registrar, while requests to reserve classrooms on the Middletown and Hamilton campuses will be reviewed by staff in the Regionals Admission office. If you would like to reserve a room at Voice of America Learning Center, please contact voalc@MiamiOH.edu.

If you have any questions about reserving a room on the Oxford campus please contact classroomscheduling@MiamiOH.edu. And if you have questions about reserving a room on the Hamilton or Middletown campuses please contact regrec@MiamiOH.edu.

Please note, 25Live is only used to reserve academic classrooms. This does not include spaces in Armstrong Student Center, Shriver Center, Hall Auditorium, or athletic spaces (Yager Stadium, Recreational Sports Center, etc.).

For online reservation room requests in Armstrong Student Center, Marcum Hotel and Conference Center, and Shriver Center, visit MiamiOH.edu/VirtualEMS.
