Academics

There are a variety of careers that focus on improving the lives of others and the Department of Justice and Community Studies prepares professionals for these careers. With academic programs in civic and regional development, criminal justiceforensic science and forensic investigation, students are prepared for careers in non-profit organizations, law enforcement, correctional agencies, forensic science and forensics investigation. While diverse, all students are prepared to make a real difference in their communities.

It is important to choose the degree that will best prepare for your specific career goals.  The JCS faculty are available for faculty advising assistance.
