Organizational Misconduct
Student organizations are an important part of the Miami experience, and the Office of Community Standards believes in the positive benefits of organizations for Miami and its students. However, just like students, organizations occasionally make decisions that might negatively impact others. That is why student organizations at Miami are held to the same standards outlined in the Code of Student Conduct as individual students. This means that an organization can be charged with allegedly violating any section of the Code of Student Conduct. Because organizations involve multiple students, the process for organizational cases might look different than single student cases.
