Assoc Dir of Fund Accounting

Reporting to the Director of Compliance and Gift Processing, this position will have responsibility for the continued improvement and enhancement of the University Advancement financial structure. This position will continually partner with other members of the UA team to foster relationships between the university and our constituents through the use of information. This position will ensure the fund accounting needs of UA are being met in an accurate and efficient manner while also helping the team to understand how to best utilize the information. The review of fund documentation and the approval of new fund establishment are key tasks that this position will fulfill. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the completion of reporting needs including, but not limited to: assist with completion of annual endowment report process, annual departmental fund audits and preparation of related audit report for upper management, and various stewardship reports (such as grant reporting and compliance reporting).

Assoc Dir of Volunteer Boards

The principal responsibilities of the Associate Director of Volunteer Boards will include direct leadership of University Advancement’s volunteer activity program, including coordination and management of campaign volunteers. In addition to active participation with volunteer activities, this individual participates in the coordination of volunteer recruitment, training and retention/recognition of volunteers and provides assistance with the governance structure of volunteer boards. The position reports to the Senior Director of University Advancement Administration.

Assistant Vice President Advancement Communications, Marketing and Events

The Assistant Vice President Advancement Communications, Marketing and Events is a senior level staff member who reports to the Senior Vice President for University Advancement. The AVP leads the division’s brand development, promotion, and measurement, and directs a university-wide strategy to unify, optimize, and enhance capital campaign marketing and communications initiatives across administrative and academic units, including the office of the President. The Assistant Vice President also serves as a member of the division leadership team, with responsibility for strategic planning and coordination with other University academic and administrative divisions.

Dir of Donor Relations

Designs and implements a comprehensive donor relations program aimed to strengthen relationships with donors at all levels of giving. The Director will provide management and oversight to donor relations activities, including the following areas of responsibility: gift acknowledgments, impact reports, customized stewardship and engagement plans, lifetime giving societies, donor recognition and campus naming, and engagement and communications plans for high priority donor segments, among other duties as assigned. The Director works closely with the Director of University Advancement Administration, the Director of Compliance and Gift Processing, the Senior Associate Vice President for University Advancement, and development staff to advance the culture of philanthropy across the university and assist University Advancement in reaching its fundraising goals. The position reports to the Senior Director of University Advancement Administration.
