Miami will develop an online master’s program in curriculum and instruction, designed to develop knowledge and skills in multicultural, contextually relevant, and justice-oriented practices in education.
This new program features a two-track curriculum supporting both early-career teachers and community-based educational practitioners.
The program will respond to these needs by improving individual professional practice while fostering skills and knowledge for holistic engagement in justice-oriented work across schools, educational spaces outside of classrooms, and in the public sphere. Miami aims to attract up to 60 students in each cohort within three years after inception.

The professional and leadership development in this Miam program will help uplift and transform our communities by nurturing teachers and community leaders to improve daily practices, especially socially just and culturally responsive pedagogies and curriculum development. We can help them think across sectors and systems, developing culturally responsive curriculum and community engagement programs.
