Miami Bound - Get Outside 

Calling all those with a spirit of adventure! Explore the outdoors and make new friends. This program will connect you with other first-year students who share your passion for the outdoors while easing the transition into life on campus.

Dates and Important Information

Location: Oxford, Ohio

Dates: August 19 - 22, 2024

Registration Fee: $195 + pre-semester housing

Fee Includes: Off-site transportation, meals, camping, activity specific equipment, staff

Day 1
- Move-in to your residence hall
- Welcome activity and ice breakers in the evening

Day 2
- Biking tour of campus
- Challenge course experience
- Rock Climbing at the Rec Center
- Evening campfire with s'mores

Day 3
- Full day adventure off-campus
- Choice activity of backpacking, mountain biking, canoeing or rock climbing
- Overnight camping trip in the tri-state region.

Day 4
- Closing Activity
- Return to Campus

Register through the Office of Orientation.

Registration opens on May 20 at 1 p.m. Eastern time. You must be registered for an orientation session before you're eligible to sign up for a Miami Bound program.
