Healthcare preferences of nursing home residents: Perceived barriers and situational dependencies

02/01/2016

Identifying naturally occurring retirement communities: A spatial analysis

06/23/2015

Guided by the concept of “aging in place” and potential policy implications, the study analyzed naturally occurring retirement communities (NORCs; 40% or greater house owners and renters aged 65 years and older) and whether there were spatiotemporal patterns in Ohio between 2000 and 2010. "Make me feel at ease and at home" Differential care preferences of nursing home residents

04/15/2015

Assessing and honoring older adults’ preferences is a fundamental step in providing person-centered care in long-term care facilities. Researchers and practitioners have begun to develop measures to assess nursing home (NH) residents’ everyday preferences.
