The Teaching of Writing Certificate (18 credits) is designed especially for teachers who are seeking additional expertise in the teaching of writing but do not wish to pursue a master’s degree. The course of study includes the OWP Workshop on the Teaching of Writing and 12 hours of electives that enable teachers to focus on their particular interests in writing and literacy. Like all OWP programs, this certificate is designed by teachers for teachers; we invite you to join a vibrant, collaborative community where you can share and further develop your expertise as both a teacher and writer.
