Why Miami?
Despite my fear of rejection, I decided to give it a try and applied to Miami University. I always wanted to attend a school that not only helps a student obtain a degree but also a school that creates a memorable history in their mind. And Miami University is the one for me.
How did you choose your major?
After multiple research attempts, I discovered that the major which could lead me into my desired career was Public Administration. Although I already knew what I wanted for a career, I was initially unsure about the specific major that aligned with my goals.
Key Moment at Miami
Dr. Larson is a professor I will never forget in my life. She may not have directly helped shape my life, but she made me realize that everything is possible at Miami University. In an indirect way, she assisted me in overcoming my fears.
Advice to Prospective Students
I would share my positive experiences and emphasize the supportive and inspiring environment at the university. I'd express how Miami University has not only provided me with academic knowledge but also instilled a belief that anything is achievable with determination. Also encourage them to explore the diverse opportunities, both academically and socially that the university has to offer.
What are your career goals?
Working with a government agency.
