Welcome to the College of Arts and Science
As Miami’s most diverse and expansive division, CAS embraces a holistic approach to learning, encouraging students to explore various fields and cultivate a well-rounded understanding of the world. Students pursue their passions across a wide spectrum of disciplines within the biological and natural sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities. By fostering critical thinking, creativity, and adaptability, CAS equips students with interdisciplinary skills and perspectives that provide higher-than-average acceptance rates to medical and law schools. Over 98% of CAS students are employed or enrolled in graduate school by the fall after their spring graduation.
