Global Health Research Innovation Center
The Global Health Research Innovation Center (GHRIC), in the College of Arts and Science, facilitates interdisciplinary faculty research and alumni engagement, creating opportunities for student research involvement and enriching the teaching in the Global Health minor.
The mission of the Global Health Research Innovation Center (GHRIC) is to foster interdisciplinary faculty research collaborations with colleagues within and beyond Miami University to explore innovative ideas for addressing domestic and international global health problems, and to engage students and alumni in faculty global health research.
Through facilitating faculty engagement in global health research, the GHRIC will enrich student learning opportunities in the Global Health minor.
It's important for students to seriously consider their own place in the environment. Environmental degradation is the result of resource extraction, use, and disposal, so I want them to consider how they are living their lives, what kinds of products they buy, what kinds of vehicles they use, and what kinds of foods they eat. After all, they are now making choices that will stay with them for their entire lives.
