Computer/Technology Endorsement
K12 teacher with licensure
The Computer/Technology Endorsement is a 7-course online graduate sequence of courses designed to prepare K-12 teachers to become leaders in technology integration and in leveraging the power of technology and media to engage students in meaningful learning. This seven-course endorsement is designed to foster teacher-coaches to guide and support students and colleagues in the integration of technology and media for digital age teaching and learning.
Curriculum
The Computer/Technology Endorsement includes seven (7) courses. All of these courses are also part of the M.Ed. in Educational Technology. A student initially enrolled in the ETCE may apply those courses toward the M.Ed.
In addition to the seven endorsement courses, candidates must also pass the Ohio Assessment Exam (OAE) that you must pass in order to obtain this endorsement (Computer/Technology Endorsement #111770). The exam contains two subtests: Subtest I (Field 016) and Subtest II (Field 017).
Subtest I includes:
- Basic Operations, Concepts, and Issues of Digital Technology
- Productivity Applications of Digital Technology
Subtest II includes:
- Teaching and Learning Applications of Digital Technology

Educational Technology Endorsement
The Computer/Technology Endorsement is a 7-course online graduate sequence of courses designed to prepare K-12 teachers to foster teacher coaches and facilitators in leveraging the power of technology and media to engage students in meaningful learning. This seven-course endorsement (including 50 hrs. of field experience) is designed to foster teacher-coaches to guide and support students and colleagues in the integration of technology and media for digital age teaching and learning. (21 credit hours)

You must either be currently enrolled as a graduate student or apply for enrollment as a continuing non-degree student.
