Miami recognized with national marketing awards

Miami University's university communications and marketing team has earned five awards in a national competition. Higher Ed Marketing, a publication that takes a critical look at how universities and colleges approach advertising, has recognized Miami in its 29th annual Educational Advertising Awards.

Miami was commended in five different categories:

“It is gratifying to have work recognized, particularly with a national awards showcase," said Deedie Dowdle, Miami’s associate vice president of communications and marketing. "All of UCM has been working hard to find ever more creative ways to effectively connect with audiences. Some of our own internal research indicates the audiences responded well to these award winners, as well.”

More than 1,000 universities submitted 2,000 entries to the competition.

Agencies with which Miami works, mStoner and 160over90, shared in the website, homepage redesign and virtual tour awards.
