Spring Internship and Career Expo to feature over 200 employers

Miami University students seeking an internship or full-time job will have an opportunity to interact with employers at the Spring Internship and Career Expo (Spring ICE) 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Millett Hall.

Spring ICE will host an expected 1,400 students and more than 200 organizations seeking to fill a variety of positions. Those who attend can distribute their resumes and speak with employer representatives. Organizations take part in the event to help them identify talented prospects for interviews.

“Employers constantly tell us they like to see internships and other types of experiential learning highlighted on the resumes of our graduates,” said Mike Goldman, Miami’s director of career services. “We encourage students to view internships as highly beneficial, not only in terms of increasing their educational competitiveness in the job search process but also enriching the quality of their total experience.”
