Lori Cramer, senior director of equestrian/recreational sports at Miami University, has been named a recipient of the United States Hunter Jumper Association’s (USHJA) President’s Distinguished Service Award.

The USHJA is the official hunter/jumper affiliate of the U.S. Equestrian Federation, a competition-based sport organization.

The association created the service awards in 2006 to recognize and honor the dedication and service of members. Cramer and 12 other recipients were honored at the Evening of Equestrians Awards dinner on Dec. 8 in Orlando, Fla., where the annual meeting is being held.

Cramer has been on the USHJA board since 2011. She has worked at Miami since 2005, serving as director of equestrian until 2014, when she started her current position.
