Holi festival

Miami students celebrated the Hindu festival of Holi last week.

Miami University's Indian Student Association hosted Holi early this year (March 12) since March 23, the actual date, is during spring break.

Holi is an annual Hindu cultural and religious festival. Also known as the “Festival of Colors,” it is the biggest Hindu festival after Diwali. Holi is typically a two-day festival celebrated with bonfires, colored powder and colored water.

It is among numerous cultural events celebrated by students at Miami.
