Miami has an Employee Institutional Response Team (E-IRT), created to respond to situations where there is concern that an employee poses a risk of substantial harm to himself/herself, to others or to property.
The E-IRT consists of representatives from various campus offices and works collaboratively to assemble relevant information to determine an appropriate course of action.
For concerns that an employee may pose a risk of substantial harm to himself/herself, to someone else, or to property, your primary contacts are E-IRT co-chairs Celia Ellison (for faculty or unclassified staff in academic affairs units) or Dawn Fahner (for classified staff and unclassified staff in nonacademic units).
