Wrap presents with Miami's Holiday Project for children in need

By Maggie Thomas, news and communications intern

holiday-logoMiami University’s Classified Personnel Advisory Committee (CPAC) invites those who are interested to participate in the Miami Holiday Project. The purpose of the project is to donate holiday gifts to foster children in Butler and Preble counties.

Volunteers are ready to shop for gifts Saturday, Dec. 10. There are slots for volunteers still open to help wrap the gifts next week:

  • 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. Dec. 12-15, in the racquetball courts in Phillips Hall.

To volunteer to wrap, sign up online.

For more than 20 years, the project has served about 2,240 children and raised more than $250,000 in cash and gifts.

To raise awareness about the Miami Holiday Project, CPAC asks that participants use #IAmMiami in social media posts.
