New student trustees appointed to board

Alexandra Boster

Alexandra Boster and Hallie Jankura were appointed to Miami University’s Board of Trustees by Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

Boster is a junior political science and religion double major and management and leadership minor. She’s a member of the social sorority Kappa Alpha Theta and the College Republicans. She’s a creative arts scholar through the University Academic Scholars Program. Boster is from Cincinnati and will graduate in 2019. She was appointed last year.

Hallie Jankura

Jankura is a junior political science and sustainability double major and rhetoric and writing minor. She serves as vice president of the University Academic Scholars Program. She works as a campus tour guide and is an active member of Nourish International. Jankura is from Uniontown and will graduate in May 2019. She is the newest student trustee.

Students are non-voting members of Miami’s board of trustees. Boster’s term expires in 2018. Jankura replaces Ciara Lawson, and her term expires in 2019.
