Bridges Program application is now available online

The application for Miami University’s Bridges Program is now available online through the office of admission.

The program is an overnight visit experience for high-achieving, high school seniors from historically underrepresented populations or who have a commitment to promoting and appreciating a deeper understanding of diversity. Students representing different racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, gender identity and socioeconomic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Bridges is an opportunity for students to visit Miami and immerse themselves in campus life. They will engage with students and professors in the classroom, eat in the dining halls, stay overnight with current students and journey through campus to uncover the Miami college experience.

Over the past 10 years, nearly 4,000 students have participated in the Bridges Program. Last year, 617 students participated in one of four Bridges Program sessions, 280 of which ultimately enrolled for the 2017 fall semester.

Please visit the Bridges Program website for more information. This year’s application deadline is Monday, Sept. 18.
