Summer reading book, "One Size Fits None," selected for Class of 2023

One Size Fits None: A Farm Girl’s Search for the Promise of Regenerative Agriculture, by Stephanie Anderson has been selected as Miami University’s 2019 summer reading book.

One Size Fits None is the story of Anderson’s journey throughout America’s farming communities. She reports on efforts to adapt our current food production system to a more sustainable, climate friendly and healthy practice.

“I loved how [Anderson] piques your curiosity by giving insight into her farming background and admitting that it was wrong,” said Amelia, a student on the summer reading selection committee.

The summer reading program has operated continuously since 1982 and plays a prominent role in Convocation — a special event that welcomes Miami’s incoming first-year class with a day of activities. This year’s convocation will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25. Anderson will speak at the event.

Faculty and staff can now sign up online to help facilitate breakout sessions that will meet on Friday, Aug 23, to discuss the book.
