Fair Labor Standards Act affects about 200 Miami unclassified staff
Due to recent changes in the federal law known as the Fair Labor Standards Act, approximately 200 members of Miami's unclassified staff who earn a salary of less than $47,476 per year will become eligible for overtime pay or compensatory time on Dec. 1, 2016.

Open meeting: Reaccreditation review for Miami's speech pathology graduate program
Miami University’s graduate program in speech pathology is undergoing a reaccreditation review by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). A site review of the program will be conducted Oct. 10-11.
