Work starts on east wing of Armstrong Student Center

Map of the construction site.

With the sidewalk closing between Culler Hall and Armstrong Student Center, pedestrians can use sidewalks along Patterson Avenue and west of Armstrong Student Center. The sidewalk shown between Culler and Shideler will be laid in spring.

Pedestrian walkways and one entry to the Armstrong Student Center will be affected by barrier fences for construction on Culler Hall beginning Monday, Jan. 18.

As renovation of Culler Hall begins to convert it to the east wing of Armstrong Student Center and connect it to the main building, the walkway between Culler and Armstrong will temporarily close, as will an east entry to Armstrong.

Pedestrians will be able to cross that section of campus on sidewalks along Patterson Avenue and west of Armstrong Student Center.

Early in spring semester, a temporary sidewalk will be added between Culler and Shideler halls to provide an additional route to Bishop Circle.
