Miami Regionals establish staff forums

The Miami Regionals recently established a Regional Staff Forum consisting of classified and unclassified staff.

The standing initiatives of the Staff Forum are:

• Staff welfare.
• Continuing education and scholarship and grants.
• Non-academic polices and planning.

“Staff will have a monthly recognized venue in which to discuss matters of importance to their professional lives and disciplines,” said Debbie Smith, administrative assistant at Miami Middletown and a member of Miami’s Classified Personnel Advisory Committee (CPAC).

The next meeting of the Regional Staff Forum will be held at 11: 30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, in 322 Mosler Hall at the Hamilton campus and in 120 Johnston Hall at the Middletown campus. The meetings are held using Webex.
