Michelle Reinstatler
Dr. Reinstatler served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years in satellite operations and as a speech writer as well as an instructor at the Air Force Academy. Her research interests include medieval literature, pop culture representations of mental illness, conspiracy theory, horror films and other media, and gender and sexuality representation in pop culture. She loves the outdoors and spending time with her husband, Ryan, and their two dogs.

English Composition at Xavier University, University of Cincinnati, and U.S. Air Force Academy; literature at Xavier University and USAFA; Intro to Critical Race and Ethnic Studies, Intro to Women and Gender Studies, and Writing with Purpose, and Introduction to GLBT Studies at Miami University
Research Interests
Medieval literature, pop culture representations of mental illness, conspiracy theory, horror films/other media, and gender and sexuality representation in pop culture.

- January 2021-Present: Working with publisher Routledge: Perpetuating Paranormalism: Ghost Hunting as Cultural Performance
- Jan 2017: Began work on four novel collections entitled, The Bad-Ass Bitch Chronicles, consisting of four different female protagonists: book 1 is currently untitled, book 2 is Tragedy, book 3 is The Incorrigible Terra Bradley, and book 4 is Red Brigade.
