“Why Miami?”
“My passion for preventative care and the holistic healthcare models drove me to Miami University. I wanted to attend a school where I could study medicine, but explore the impacts of shared individual and community health and well-being. This program provides many opportunities to challenge my academic learning with real-world applications of the material. The capstone project, for example, is teaching me how to build my confidence and research root causes to issues as well as offer solutions. I am excited to continue to grow into a community leader as well as a dynamic healthcare professional.”
