“Why Miami?”
“While completing my undergraduate education at Miami University, I witnessed first-hand the professional and academic excellence that the institution consistently upholds as a standard. It is here that both the students and professors foster a community of support and collaboration; where ideas are shared and growth is encouraged academically and personally. I knew these same ideals would translate into my graduate medical studies, which is why my decision to return to Oxford was not only natural, but intentional. It is an honor to study medicine in the new Clinical Health Sciences and Wellness Facility, where technology and state of the art tools regularly enhance my learning experience. The faculty and staff have additionally provided invaluable guidance and support, which is complementary to the incredible curriculum design, which prepares graduates for the challenges that are frequently encountered by contemporary medical professionals. Miami University’s Physician Associate Studies Program has already not only increased my confidence as a student and future provider, but has offered me friendships, a unique experience, and the knowledge to serve all patient populations.”
