“Why Miami?”
“Growing up in a rural community, I have seen how limited access to healthcare affects families. That experience is what drives me to become a PA who gives back to underserved communities. Miami’s mission, with its clear focus on rural medicine, compassion, and community service, really aligns with my goals. I’m also drawn to the new Clinical Health Sciences and Wellness Building. The advanced technology and hands-on learning opportunities will help me become a confident, well-rounded provider who can adapt to the challenges rural medicine often presents. More than just clinical training, Miami offers the kind of supportive, mission-driven environment where I know I’d grow both as a future PA and as someone dedicated to making a difference in communities like the one from which I came.”
