The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at Regionals collaborates with the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) in Oxford in a commitment to support faculty in delivering high-quality learning experiences for students and continuously improving their practice. We are also committed to supporting the requirement for faculty to provide multiple measures of teaching effectiveness as outlined in the Miami University Policy Library. To this end, the CTE offers a robust midcourse evaluation website, including information on the process, available tools, and online resources.
Through the CTL, Faculty Teaching Consultants offer one-on-one consultations for those teaching Regionals courses. Faculty can meet with consultants to review midcourse tools before giving an evaluation and/or to discuss midcourse evaluation results. All consultations are confidential, and this process has been highly rated and recommended by faculty.
