Service trip to Belize perfect fit for double major
As a nursing and Spanish double major, the opportunity to travel to a Spanish-speaking country to set up clinics and serve local communities seemed too good to be true, but luckily for sophomore Alissa Smith, she got to do just that on her service learning trip to Belize.

Associate Degree Latest Achievement for The Voice of the RedHawks
For 31 years, Steve Baker has been involved in broadcasting Miami athletics. The Voice of the RedHawks has broadcast Miami radio, television, and online programs for football, basketball, and volleyball. For the past six years, amid the long hours of traveling, preparing, interviewing, editing, and being on air, he has also worked to achieve a very special goal. This December he will receive his associate's degree in humanities from Miami.
