Scheduling Space in Armstrong

How to schedule an event in Armstrong Student Center

Reservation requests should be made via 25Live at least two weeks in advance.

Reservation

  1. Access Miami University’s 25Live webpage
  2. Sign in using your Miami University log in credentials
  3. Select the “Event Form” icon at the top of the page
  4. Enter the requested information including Event Name, Event Type, Sponsoring Organization, Expected Head Count, and a brief Event Description.
  5. Next, select the desired event date and the event start and end times. 
  6. If your event is a recurring event (ex. weekly meetings, multiple rehearsals, etc.), additional dates can be added to the reservation by selecting the additional dates on the calendar. 
    1. Once additional dates are added, the start/end times of those occurrences can be adjusted by clicking “Manage Occurrences” and editing the start/end times.
  7. Now you can search and directly add event locations, or browse available spaces. 
    1. To browse available space, click through the various filters to select the desired building, features, or capacities before clicking “Search”. 
    2. Use the “Search Locations” box to find specific locations or rooms. 
  8. Click “Reserve” to add desired locations to the created reservation.
  9. Add “Event Comments” to provide any additional information that may be relevant for event planners to know when reviewing the reservation. 
  10. If applicable, complete the “Additional Event Information” regarding date flexibility, ADA accommodations, AV Requirements, Event Food, collaboration status, intended audience, and event funding. 
  11. Ensure the Event Requestor Information is accurate. The Event Requestor should be the individual from the organization that is planning the event and coordinating with the Armstrong Student Center Team
  12. For events in the Armstrong Student Center, the Scheduler should ALWAYS be Pamela Goodwin. 
  13. Read and check the box for the event affirmation.
  14. After saving the event, you can…
    1. “Go to Event Details”- View the summary of event details for the event that was just submitted.
    2.  “Continue Editing the Event” 
    3. Or “Create Another Event”- submit an event form for another reservation.
  15. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing.
