As a Student Center dedicated to student engagement and success, we invest heavily in the selection, training, development, and evaluation of student staff to assist in running the building. We employ nearly 80 students each semester across 5 broad job areas to ensure our operations are fully staffed. Below are brief job descriptions for our student employee positions; we invite all qualified students to apply for positions as they become available throughout the year. Our biggest recruitment period is during the spring semester (for a fall semester start) but positions may open periodically throughout the semester - so check back frequently!
Position openings for all jobs above will be posted on an as-needed basis through the Miami University student employment website.
Note: Student Dining positions operate independently from the Armstrong Student Center, please contact Dining Services for information related to student job opportunities in the dining venues.

Assistant Building and Events Managers take lead on larger events in the building, ensuring high quality customer service and event support. They also take on a leadership role by delegating tasks to the Event Services Specialist, and helping the Building and Events Manager ensure safety and operations of the facility.
