Hey Y'all! I'm from what I like to call "The bottom of the boot" in South Louisiana--I grew up a lot closer to the Gulf of Mexico than the rest of the state! I am an alumnus of Miami and I didn't want to leave! I absolutely love traveling and learning about new cultures, languages and music. While at Miami I was involved in numerous activities including serving as the Vice President of Miami Ambassadors Creating Change, a tour guide in the Office of Admission, sitting on numerous student panels for prospective students and their parents, Miami University Gospel Singers, and many other things. I received my Bachelor's of Arts in International Studies concentrating in Conflict Peace & Diplomacy and Spanish and minoring in Political Science. I spent my 4 years studying Sex Trafficking around the world. I spent a summer interning with the Government Relations Network of Educational Testing Services where I had the opportunity to study Educational Policy and Reform and fell in love with higher ed and academia. I'm excited to be apart of the Miami Admission Staff helping you find the best college fit for you, which I hope will be Miami!
My favorite Miami Moment, hands down, would have to be the last hockey game of my senior year, which I might add was only my second game, I got chosen to ride the Zamboni after the first quarter. It was such an amazing experience!! I absolutely loved it and would pay to do it again--Hockey is now in my top favorite sports! Go RedHawks!
