Hey Y'all! I'm from what I like to call "The bottom of the boot" in South Louisiana--I grew up a lot closer to the Gulf of Mexico than the rest of the state! I am an alumnus of Miami and I didn't want to leave! I absolutely love traveling and learning about new cultures, languages and music. While at Miami I was involved in numerous activities including serving as the Vice President of Miami Ambassadors Creating Change, a tour guide in the Office of Admission, sitting on numerous student panels for prospective students and their parents, Miami University Gospel Singers, and many other things. I received my Bachelor's of Arts in International Studies concentrating in Conflict, Peace, & Diplomacy and Spanish and minoring in Political Science. I spent my 4 years studying Sex Trafficking around the world. I spent a summer interning with the Government Relations Network of Educational Testing Services where I had the opportunity to study Educational Policy and Reform and fell in love with higher ed and academia. I'm excited to be a part of the Miami Admission Staff helping you find the best college fit for you, which I hope will be Miami!
Favorite Miami Moment
My favorite Miami Moment, hands down, would have to be the last hockey game of my senior year, which I might add was only my second game, I got chosen to ride the Zamboni after the first quarter. It was such an amazing experience!! I absolutely loved it and would pay to do it again--Hockey is now in my top favorite sports! Go RedHawks!
