I grew up in Columbus, Ohio and received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Miami in 2010. While at Miami I was involved in numerous activities ranging from being a student ambassador and tour guide in the Office of Admission to serving as cheerleading captain my senior year. I was also crowned Miss Black & Gold through a scholarship pageant sponsored by one of the social Greek organizations on campus. Post graduation I worked in the Office of Admission as an Admission Counselor before venturing out on my next big adventure, graduate school! I moved to Philadelphia were I earned by master's degree in Higher Education from The University of Pennsylvania and worked in the business school. I am excited to be back in Oxford again post grad working to help you find your best college fit, which I hope will be Miami!
I am an avid RedHawks fan, especially football. My favorite moment was attending the MAC Championship game & The GoDaddy.com Bowl in 2010-2011. We were underdogs going into the MAC Championship game, facing a BCS ranked team, but we won on a touchdown play set up by an amazing 4th & 20 tipped completion (it was a SportsCenter Top 10 play). I held my breath from the moment the ball was snapped until the moment it was tipped into the receiver's hands by a defender. Two plays later a Miami receiver was streaking into the endzone with 33 seconds left and we ended up winning 26-21. A few weeks later I traveled down to Mobile, AL to watch the RedHawks win the GoDaddy.com bowl 35-21 and complete a 10-win season marking the largest turnaround in college football history.
